Lithuania’s wine consumption is growing rapidly and is getting close to the level of France or Italy. It's not unusual why more and more people are asking how to clean wine stains.

Wine stains are usually cleaned by using salt, hydrogen peroxide, soap, carbonated water, vinegar or dish washing liquid.

Salt should be applied to wine stain immediately after accident, if possible. The salt should remain on the stain for about an hour. If you don't have salt, colourless unsweetened and carbonated water works fine as well. Just submerge the stained spot in that water for a while.

Red wine stains can also be cleaned by mixing soap and hydrogen peroxide and scrubbing the stain with a sponge.

Since white wine is easier to clean just because it's not as visible as red wine a simple method should be applied. Soak the stained fabric in cold water for 30 min and after that wash normally. If bleaching is allowed use bleach when washing.
